unit 6

In the film “Bridge to Terabithia”, we meet Jess Aarons, a boy who loves drawing and running. His younger sister, May Belle, takes the bus to school with him everyday. Jess is a very calm boy, but some people keep disturbing him!

1. Watch this first video. Janice Avery, a tall blond girl sitting in the back of the bus, is very rude to Jess. After watching the sequence, complete the balloon in your worksheet with an appropriate sentence. You can use the some of the words in the use box to help you. What should Jess say to Janice?

2. Now watch this last sequence. Jess is back in the bus. Janice trips and blames him. The bus driver tells Jess to get off the bus. What is the rule in the school bus? Can you complete the bus driver’s balloon in your worksheet?
